What to look for in these samples
When you review the sample documents, here's what to check:
Coverage: Open the mapping matrix and find a performance criterion at random. Trace it to the assessment task that covers it. Does that task actually assess that criterion?
Observable language: In the observation checklist, pick any criterion. Is the behaviour described specifically enough that you could tell from watching a learner whether they met it or not?
Knowledge evidence: In the learner guide, find a knowledge evidence item from the unit on training.gov.au. Is it covered in the guide?
Metadata: At the top or bottom of each document, you'll see the unit code, unit version, and generation date. This is how you know the document is based on the current unit.

What RTOs say about the sample quality
"The mapping matrix was the first thing I checked. I've seen plenty of AI-generated mapping matrices that are just performance criteria copy-pasted in. RTOFlow's actually maps assessment tasks — that's the difference." — RTO Compliance Manager
"The observation checklist language is good. It's not just 'the learner can do X' — it's specific enough to use as an assessor." — VET Trainer, Aged Care scope
