Application
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to plan for and lead a development team using structured Agile processes to deliver components (or subprojects or increments) of an Agile project.
This unit applies to senior operators, team leaders, managers or others who have been given the responsibility to facilitate communications and collaboration and assist the development team to apply Agile processes to plan and implement iterations.
This unit applies to any organisation that is implementing structured Agile processes.
Agile is typically applied in contexts where the solution or outcome is not known, or in constantly changing environments, and where the customer can reasonably use and critique the ‘product in progress’.
No licensing or certification requirements exist at the time of publication. Relevant legislation, industry standards and codes of practice within Australia must be applied.
